This ring features an interesting mottled fire opal and common opal from the La Trinidad mines near Querétaro, Mexico. I spend part of the year in Central Mexico and aquire stones from local miners and lapidary artists in that area.
This opal was cut from the same stone as the earrings "Fire Opal Earrings" also available in my shop
